***Merry Christmas Eve!!!!***
Well it is finally Christmas Eve! And what a busy few days it has been in MD! Last night Ian and I drove up to York, PA, to hang out with the Schaeffers! It was so nice to see them and spend some time chatting and catching up and eating cookies. Yummm!
This morning Steph and I were super excited to do our 24th Day of Giving together! It was such a nice almost-end to this project, since she was the one who inspired me to do it. We headed to the mall in York, dragging our husbands with us, to volunteer as gift wrappers for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). It was super, super busy with last-minute shoppers all hoping to have their gifts wrapped for their kids, wives, girlfriends, and mistresses. Oh yes. Lots of men proud of that fact.
It was all donation based, and we were happy that the majority of the people were very generous with their donations to the UCP. The table was a bit short staffed, so we ended up staying an extra 40 minutes furiously wrapping gifts before we really had to head out to get our own last-minute Christmas tasks finished! And get sandwiches, because all of that wrapping made us huuuuuungry!
Thanks for a fun day Steph & Burt!
I hope all of you got your presents wrapped and your cookies baked and your trees trimmed! Merry Christmas Eve! And Happy Hanukah to my Jewish readers 🙂
